About Us

Purple Rage was founded in 2005 by Rob Dixon and Jan Gregson. Purple Rage is a UK & European distributor, formed to create a platform for a focused set of solutions to meet the requirements of company's evermore demanding, diverse and heterogeneous environments. By working with strategic partners that promote and enhance multiple operating systems we are able to serve diverse business sectors. Purple Rage's set of solutions are available online, as well as through channel partners.

Purple Rage is based in Malvern, United Kingdom and is a privately held company.

We need your help! Through personal experience we know the stress and turmoil that the news of a loved one or a colleague being diagnosed with cancer can bring. Just the mention of the word is enough to chill the soul. Whilst cure rates are getting better than ever, the treatment is still a rough experience on body and mind. Cure is far prefereable to treament, and so we wanted to do something tangible to help. To this end we've signed up with the "Vultures against cancer" grid computing campaign, and we ask you consider the same.

This is a team promoted by "The Register", and through it you can donate CPU time on your systems to do a bit of number crunching. The result, the time on your CPU is used to analyse research data generated by the Department of Chemistry at the University of Oxford in the UK and the National Foundation for Cancer Research in the US.
