It is not necessary to run Peer DRS on the same server as the primary database or target Exchange servers. Peer DRS automates the replication of databases and incremental changes on a primary server, which are then restored onto one or more target standby servers. Transaction logs are automatically backed up throughout the day (for whatever interval specified), which are then automatically restored on a standby server located anywhere in the world. The result keeps the two databases synchronised; should the production server fail, users simply have to point the users/applications to the new server and perform a database "role reversal". The new version includes additional platform support for Open SuSE Linux 10.2, RedHat Enterprise Linux 7.3 systems as well as support for cross forest domain trusts. Cross Forest Trusts - For complex Active Directory environments, where Inter- and Intra- forest authentication is needed, Centeris has added cross forest domain trust functionality with the option for one–way and/or two-way trusts between Active Directory deployments to strengthen the security of your network. Enhanced Support for RFC2307 - In addition, Centeris has added enhanced support for standard RFC2307. The new version of Parallels Desktop is anchored by Coherence, a groundbreaking new feature that runs Windows applications on the Mac like they are native applications. PeerSync Observer is a utility that allows you to monitor all PeerSync activity across the LAN. It gives you a centralized view of all PeerSync activity on the network. The PeerSync Observer is a receptor application that receives specific information from running PeerSync applications on the network.
