PowerBroker Identity Services Open is the open source solution to allow Linux, Unix, and Mac systems to join to Microsoft Active Directory and securely authenticate users with AD credentials. Now non-Windows systems can integrate with your enterprise network. You can standardise on Microsoft Active Directory with the assurance of knowing that you will not lose the flexibility to choose other operating systems.

From version 6 onwards

• If you are already a PowerBroker Identity Services Open user you can now easily upgrade, with a new registry mechanism that ensures existing settings are maintained while upgrading.
• Logging on is now much faster. PowerBroker Identity Services Open significantly improves login times for users with many group associations – in particular, large and complex groups.
• There is now enhanced password change support. PowerBroker Identity Services Open 6.0 lets non-Windows users in complex Active Directory topologies update passwords to comply with network policies.
