SafeStick is a fully encrypted, 100% secure USB memory stick available in sizes from 1GB up to 64GB in size. SafeStick features an on-board encryption processor. Simply plug it in to any pc and choose a password to start working. No software is required!
SafeStick encrypts all data with military grade AES 256 bit government standards via an on-board, non-bypassable Intel 8051 Processor. With free Deepnet FlashID pre-installed, SafeStick is also an authentication token! SafeStick = Encrypted Data + Authentication all in one device.
SafeStick protects stored data with hardware protection. It is not possible to unlock without the correct password. Central password recovery management system is possible if this is needed to support deployment.
Using the "SafeConsole" management application, SafeStick can be integrated directly into Windows Active Directory, and different policies can be applied based on Active Directory group membership. This is how SafeStick on the go and in real life really works.
Why do you need SafeStick?
There are many reasons why you should encrypt all your company laptops, USB sticks and other removable media - without exception. You must also control who can export/access data in the first place. Furthermore, software encryption of USB flash drives has at least seven inherent weaknesses.Don't believe us? Take a look at a some high profile cases which caused financial loss for all concerned, loss of reputation, legal litigation cases, fraud, identity theft, much pain for those affected by their details becoming public knowledge.

SafeStick Console
With SafeConsole, all SafeStick drives in the organisation can be managed from a central console. Each SafeStick will be bound to a user in your Active Directory. Password policies, SafeStick behaviour and extra functionality can be managed on an OU level reflecting your Active Directory structure. The server will keep track of which users in your organisation are equipped with SafeStick and when they have been used.
What is SafeConsole ?
SafeConsole is a web based management solution for managing and applying custom policies to all your SafeSticks wherever they are used around the world.
SafeConsole allows you to:
- Design, assign and enforce different, custom password policies enforced depending on AD membership.
- Remotely reset forgotten passwords via challenge / response.
- Auditing & Reporting.
- Employee lost a stick? No problem, use SafeConsole to disable the stick so no one else can use it. Perhaps apply a custom message to be displayed if the finder inserts it and tries to use it - perhaps advising the finder where to return it for a reward.
- Permanently wipe / erase a stick remotely!
- Configure Timer / Stick Lockout settings.
- Push data, documents, datasheets, PDF's - whatever you want to a SafeStick automatically.
- Configure quick links which can be selected when the stick is inserted (such as a corporate Outlook Web Access URL).
- Create "zones" for trusted sticks - if a trusted user, uses a trusted stick on a trusted PC, then no password is required. Take the stick outside this trusted zone and a password will be required.
There is an online demonstration of SafeConsole and SafeStick in Action presented by Softek's James Gillies. It shows how to Manage thousands of SafeSticks, change policy, recover passwords, and why hardware encryption is best, timer, lockdown & password features.
SafeStick with FlashID
With SafeStick FlashID employees are able to access their online resources with secure two factor authentication using One Time Passwords (OTP). This is simply achieved by combing the DeepNet FlashID solution with SafeSticks hardware encryption.
The OTP token is securely stored on the hardware encrypted storage drive. The token is never accessible until the user has entered their correct password.
The software launches automatically when the SafeStick is inserted and the user is then prompted for their password. When the user has logged in they can access their OTP token with a single mouse click or choose to access their stored files with the same ease.
There is an online demonstration of SafeStick with FlashID presented by Softek's James Gillies. It shows how to turn an encrypted SafeStick into a fully fledged, two factor authentication token.
It's a Flash streamed demo and it starts in a new window so you'll need to make sure that popups are enabled.
